Every day I struggle to find a way to survive and let my unconditional love of Caitlin, fear for the future and anger at our situation sit alongside each other. 

Wynter was born on 15 September 2019. She died just 23 minutes after delivery.

Instead of bringing our daughter home, we left the hospital empty-handed — forced to plan her funeral.

Quinn died in 2021 from care so bad it has now been judged criminal. Since Quinn’s death neither of us have been able to return to work full-time.

We are now left heartbroken, daughterless and left having to pick up the pieces of trying to get justice for our baby.  

We both have severe PTSD due to witnessing the death of our daughter in front of our own eyes. 

We do not move on. We do not recover. The pain never fades. The re-living never stops. 

The suicidal thoughts do not simply vanish. The need to mask and pretend never ends.

To know that our miracle son was killed by a series of avoidable mistakes has been a wound that will never heal.  The emotional toll has been indescribable.

The Supreme Court no longer recognises witnesses of the consequences of medical negligence as secondary victims. My trauma now goes unacknowledged by the courts.

Neither of us have been given any mental health support. No therapy, nothing. We've been refused it.
